Gay Hill Cemetery

7.5 miles south of La Grange

FAYETTE COUNTY, TEXAS






This cemetery is surrounded by a wrought-iron fence on top of a high hill on the west side of State Hwy 71, seven miles south of La Grange. Several of the stones have fallen over and are broken. The marker for Christian G. Wertzner is located outside of the fence. This site may also be on or near an ancient Indian burial ground.
